Must have iphone and ipad app!

Apple has done one very specific thing right which has lead to it ruling the application market.  Apple has made the finding and purchasing of applications for both iPad and iPhone so easy.  In fact if you do not have applications that can make your life a little easier it is simply because you have not looked in the app store.

There are so many apps out there for iphone and ipads. The amount of free apps is also very nice to see.  You can even test out some of the apps through a “lite” version if one is available.  In fact it is so easy that I have found myself removing several per week that i have downloaded to check out.

I have found an application that I cant seem to delete. If you have never used Zite before you should give it a try. Zite is a news application that allows you to give a thumbs up to news that you are interested in. Each time you give a thumbs up to a new article it adds it to a database. The best part about the application is when you are looking for news it will deliver news that is similar to news articles that you have given the thumbs up to.

You can also select a category such as “Mac news” or “Web Design” to receive news from.  The overall design is great and very easy to use.

Another feature that I really like is the ability to send the new article via twitter, Facebook and other social media outlets.  I recommend that you check it out if you are into news apps.  This one is on the top for me.
